Quality Control at Westpower consists of:

  • Dedicated QC Inspectors at each facility giving us a 10:1 shop to QC staff ratio
  • In-house Non Destructive Examination (NDE) for visual inspection, Liquid Penetrant (LPI) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MPI)
  • Inspections of incoming material, in process activity, first item, periodic and final product
  • Engagement of 3rd party NDE supplier to SNT-TC-1A and CGSB level III standards for PMI, UT, RT, PT, MT
  • Full range of NIST traceable calibrated measuring and monitoring devices
  • Casting Inspections to MSS-SP-55, 94 and ASTM standards
